    I recently became intrigued by The Paleo Diet and took the path of reading this book to get acquainted. I am sure glad I did this, because 2 weeks into the diet and I could definitely feel the improved effects.

    This diet is designed to give us the foods that we are genetically adapted for; so this led to more energy and I just felt like my body was cleaner internally. I also heard that studies suggest that the diet will help us live longer as well.

    I would recommend this book to those that are in search of a diet that works and will help keep the weight off.

    The Paleo Diet, which seems to be all the rage these days, is presented in a straight forward, no hype manner in “The Paleo Diet: 50 Easy and Delicious Paleo Recipes to Lose Weight and Look younger” by Linda H. Harris.
    The first part of this book goes over aspects and benefits of the Paleo Diet which some of us may not know. Yes – it helps you lose weight, but eating such wholesome foods can also help you feel and look younger, not to mention the way the diet will help you feel better all around. When you are not ingesting harsh preservatives or high acid foods all the time, your body gets a break and you reap the rewards of health.
    While not all 50 of the recipes listed are slam dunks for taste or ease, enough of them are to recommend this book. The ease of the Granola Packet On-The-Go make them perfect into my purse while the Bacon-Wrapped Dates are the essence of delicious hors d’oeuvres. These are described as a quick snack, but make them for your next dinner party – trust me, make them.
