    I’ve used a few Paleo recipes, but not because of their health and diet benefits. I really only made the dishes because they sounded good and the ones I tried were very good. I ended up with this book to try to find out more about this diet.

    What I found out very early in this book is that a Paleo diet plan is a lifestyle and not really a diet. It’s called the “cave man diet” because it’s based on lean meats and fresh foods. Cave men didn’t have refrigerators and refining processes.

    The diet can be a little difficult to get used to, but the book goes into detail about how to get through those rough patches. The book is full of tips to help you be more successful and find the foods and recipes that will work for you. What to expect in each phase is clearly defined and that was really helpful for me.

    I’m glad I read a book about how this all works and why it’s good for you. It helped to understand it all rather than just trying to start cooking with recipes and not understanding it all. I recommend this book for anyone who’s considering trying the Paleo diet. It will help you do it the right way.

    Ballinger has done a wonderful job of summarizing the entire Paleo diet for newbies and beginners like me. I have been curious about this diet and recently started adding these Paleo books to my collection. There are some very useful tips included from weight loss point of view
    The monthly plan and daily plan is quite handy to implement the diet realistically. I liked the practical approach the author takes in terms of cheat days and how to be successful in the long run as a lifestyle change and not to take it as some temporary crash diet.

    I would say go for it especially if you are serious about weight loss.

    The author of this book is placed very nice tips for beginners. Author has written a very nice word: “People go on diets until they lose that desired amount of weight, and then they come off them. Too often, though, the weight comes back on. Why? Because once the diet is over, people think they can back their old ways of eating. They shouldn’t be surprised, then, when that weight returns, because their old habits are back.” Paleo Diet is a very effective way to weight loss. But, you should maintain the meal plan. In this book author has given a two weeks complete meal plan. I will try to follow this plan for weight loss.
